They all used obdII scanner.It is a 16 pin connector and I see only 6 pins being used.Manufactured 07/95.
Right, what I was saying was just by looking at the data link connector/obd port you can tell which one it is. OBD1 have 12 pins, OBD2 have 16...however there are cars that have OBD1 systems/computers WITH a 16 pin obd connector AND both an obd 1 and 2 SCANNER will fit that 16 pin/obd1 system.
Since your car was manufactured after mid 95 it's definitely an obd2, but as stated most generic auto store scanners are garbage. Bite the bullet and have it scanned at the dealer. At least then you'll know what it is and you can buy the part and do it yourself, saving yourself money that way. Good luck guy.

I WAS CHECKING PARTS UNDER THE HOOD AND I DECIDED TO CHECK THE COIL.PULLED THE WIRE AND IT HAD CARBON ON IT.I CLEANED IT OFF FIRED UP THE CAR AND IT RAN GREAT.NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ,NICE IDLE.SHOULD I REPLACE THE COIL TO BE SAFE,CAR HAS OVER 200K,OR DO THEY GO BAD?
