Question Where do I start?

Hello everyone I have a 2000 Mustang Convertable GT and am wondering what I need to do in oder for it to perform better, faster, and more sufficient. I am a new owner and the car is all stock. I want to eventually take all the stock out (besides the engine of course) and use all after market parts including exhaust, cold air intakes, superchargers, etc. I need to know what would be the best parts out there to make my dream mustang. I want to know everything there is to know to make it go faster and make it last longer.

Thanks,
Ryan

First, welcome!

Second, we need A LOT more info. How much money do you have to spend? How mechanically inclined are you? Do you want to do performance work or appearance work first? Would you rather it be fuel efficient or powerful (you usually can't have both)? What is your overall goal (street racing, street fun, strip racing)?

Without this, we really can't tell you anything useful. Also, be aware that the questions you asked are almost impossible to answer at all. There usually are no best products, just products that balance 'cost' and 'performance.'

Thank you and I am sorry I was so vague earlier.

Let me get started. I have no money to spend as of right now. This is for future investments since I plan on having this car for a while down the road. I want it to be more performance inclined them appearance. I know what I want for appearance so there are no problems there. I want it to be more powerful then fuel efficient. My overall goal is to show off my car, race it, and basically have fun on the streets.

Welcome! Exhaust, gears, and tune are a good place to start. After that i would save up and go with a blower.

Well a good place to start is with the search button. Everything i've listed has been discussed in great detail on these forums.

If you do some searching, you'll probably come back with more specific questions, that will better enable us to help you more specifically.
