I have a 93 LX w/5.0 engine. I totaled it in a one car accident. I purchased a 90 madel LX which is a four banger. It has five speed as my totaled has. I need to know what will stay with the 4 banger body and what I will have to salvage with installing my 8 banger into the 90 LX. (rear end, trans mounts, radiator, electronics, computer, what will I have to swap to get it going. I am 19 yrs and do not have a lot of experience, but have some help on the manual labor with friends. Thanks, Guys

everything havning to do with the engine, trans, and rear end really. I mean the 5.0 is built alot more than 2.3 so just get what you can and put it into the 4 banger when you do the swap

 

you will need the trans, rearend, radiator, comp harness,injector harness, basicly strip down the engine compartment just incase you forget to take something out. because i did the same thing to my track car and i forgot some thing that i had to buy. you will also need engine + trans mounts , you mihgt need the shocks im not shure, i changed mine just to be safe. if the crashed car was a 5 speed and this new one is auto then you will need the clutch assembly+ nuetral safty switch. i think thats every thing. hope this helps you out
