I have a heater hose going from intake to heater core that has hot water runing through it. Where should the other hose be hooked up?

Your heated air door actuator is probably bad.

Im not exactly sure what a heat actuated door is but im assuming you are talking about the door that lets air in or blocks air out of the heater core and that seems to be working fine. For some reason when i checked to c if hot water was getting to my heater core only one of the hoses was hot which doesnt make much sense to me.

You may have a plugged heater core. Take both hoses off and see if you can blow air through the core. Don't use a too much air to keep from rupturing the core.

Just replace EVERYTHING in the heating/cooling system and that might do the trick. Then if that doesn't work, just replace the entire car.
