question about '91 stangs
Hey,
I've come across a 1991 Stang that i'm very interested in picking up, but normally being an import guy, i'm clueless [8D]
For starters, here's the car in question:
http://www.canadatrader.com/result/d...5&pgno=5&srt=1 (sorry, can't just link the image)
The first thing i'm curious about is how it says it's a coupe.. i've been doing some searching and all I can find is hatches, is the coupe alot less common than a hatch?
Also, it says it's got a 351ci engine... is this what it comes stock with?
Any comments on this gen of Mustang? good/bad?
thanks alot!

RE: question about '91 stangs
well i have never seen a coupe GT probably because they didn't makae them, also i havn't seen a 351 stock in a mustang unless someone swaped it in. Also you should look for one a little cheaper because that one looks kind of beat up. for 4500 you can get a nice mustang

RE: question about '91 stangs
No offence but thaT looks beat for 4500 I'd pass and find something nicer than that one.And yes no mustang came with a 351 stock. If your not mechanicly inclined I'd stay away from that car most likely it will need some work from time to time.Just IMO thou

if you lived in the northwest of the us i would say check this out http://www.bargainnews.com/viewad.cf...55&TheDealer=0 this would be a car that someone should buy its clean and has an engine swap

RE: question about '91 stangs
I agree. Stay away from that car. My 91 was in pretty good shape and I had to turn a wrench on it pretty regularly. You can get a quality foxbody for $4500. But the car in the post above this one is the kind of Mustang you need to be looking at.
