I drive a 1997 cobra and i need a new front bumper will any front bumper do or do i need on specifically for a cobra?

 

Yes its different its a cobra bumper cover.You could use any but they will not be the same.The front and rear covers are different on cobras

 

I know the bumpers are differnt but if i were to replace it could i use any bumper for a 1994-98 mustang and if i can will i need to do work extra body work to get it to fit my car

 

any bumper will bolt on but your Cobra fog lights will not fit in the GT bumper. Plus the Cobra bumper looks cooler.

 

Are you sure because i was looking at a bumper from a GT and one from a cobra and they look differnt see for yourself. It looks like the headlights might not fit look how the cobra one is shaved down more than the gt.

I see what you are saying. check out this web site www.partstrain.com it shows a different cobra bumper than what you have a picture of.
