88 LX Chip Guard Mask Point?
Hi All!!!
Only jambs and a few hours of sanding and masking stand between me and painting my converted GT to LX 88 Mustang!!!
Question I have is this...... without running inside fender/quarter and door moldings, where have others put the chip guard coating?
If I were to put the moldings, I think up to the bottom makes sense, but seeing they will not be put on, I was thinking maybe doing the rocker and angling up to the molding line on the fender and quarter; almost the same contour as the SVO Spats.
I could also just go straight across with the rocker line or I could use the molding line, but again, not sure how the molding line mask and chip guard would look.
Thanks everyone,
Steve C - RI
