Default Wheel Spacers

Does anybody have "1 wheel spacers on 99-04 mustang? I`d like to see what it looks like. They sell at ebay for like $60-80.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of these additions. thanks

I've never heard much about spacers really but I don't think it's that bad of an idea. It'll add 2" to the wheelbase adding more stability. Except it might look goofy with the tires sticking out an inch.

My tires catch on the wheelwell lip already and its a stock backspacing.Althou I have 10"rear rims.Still if you have a wide tire and have spacers when you nail it its gonna squate and tear up the sidewalls like it did on mine.I have my lips rolled all the way up and it still rubs.So I'd make sure your not going to have a clearence problem before you buy them

I`ve got 17x8 stock wheels with stock size tires 245/45 I`m considering about an inch spacer to widen the wheelbase without paying a lot for wider rims. (I`m having 35th anniversary rims and like them and do not want to trade them for anything else that`s why the idea with spacers)
I`m currently on stock springs , but when I go with pro-kit soon I may have problem 99saleen351r describes.
Thanks

I got 1" spacers from trailsport on ebay. Hub centric to both wheel and hub... Look great with stock Bullitts...
