Question New Wheels

Ok, not going to lie... want to order new wheels but i know nothing about them on what i need! i drive an 07 v6, i know the width and such are variable but i was something to pretty much trade out with stock.. they dont need to be huge but not cheap either... Im just not sure about bolt patterns and such.. as well as how the width is going to affect my drive.. anyone with knowledge on buying wheels... pls help! i mean i dont mind my stocks looks... but they are just too hard to keep clean and i get crap about them all the time..

bolt patterns just go to any reputable wheel website and you should be able to search by vehicle type/year and it will show you just wheels that will bolt strait onto your car.

width is give and take. the wider your tires, the more traction you get, but your car loses a little bit in the cornering category.

Width won't affect mpg noticeably. In theory, yes, it should take more energy or power to turn a 17x10" wheel vs. a 17x8"; as it would likely be a heavier wheel and tire combo, but I'm pretty sure you'd never notice a difference in mileage. Check American Muscle's site, they've got a buttload of wheels for your car. Or you could probably find some 05-09 GT takeoffs on ebay for cheap.
