Stang jerks when transmission shifts!!

Unhappy Stang jerks when transmission shifts!!
I jus bought a used 1984 mustang and when it reaches 2 grand or more the car violently jerks when changing gears and when i let off the gas and get back on it it jerks to... i changed the spark plugs and wires and did the whole traditional tune up any insight of CORRECT info would help

question...just to clear this up, are you saying your car jerks when you reach 2k or it only jerks while shifting

When it shifts at or above 2 grand AND when i let off and get back on the gas
