Im going insane! My shaker500 cd player makes a chirping noise lately. I installed this myself last summer so I could have a cd changer and it has worked fine for me, but the past week or so I have noticed a chirping sound coming from the unit itself (not the speakers). It doesn't matter which cd it's on or if the volume is loud or completely mute - it still just chirps away, it's very faint so noone else really hears it unless I say something about it, but once I started hearing it I can't stop it drives me insane lol... Anyone know what this is or how I can fix it? Today I even did some palm-to-front-of-shaker action and that made the chirping a little louder (momentarely then it quieted back down). Someone help me!

 

sounds ilke something just isnt lubricated as well as it was when your unit was newer. moving parts will eventually start chirping at one time or another, simple fix..turn up music, unless however you are listining to jonas brothers...then better keep it on the dl
