Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and know a lot about cars but not a whole lot about Fords. I was just wondering what you guys suggest as far as a proper swap from a C6 tranny to automatic? I'm not for sure what automatic transmission to look for? It would be going into an '80 Mustang with a 468 bb, pushing around 600hp. I love ratchet shifters and that's what I want in this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you could contact some companies like performance automatic, and lentech to see what they have to offer. i know that they have some aod's that can withstand that kind of power.
