Default Belt Issue GT500 ??

I replaced the stock pulley on stock blower with a 2.6 pulley package from lethal perf idler and all installed the car was great for 6 months then ripped one rib off the belt i changed the belt and it happened again afew days later it is taking the rib off the front of the belt so i am thinking the pulley has either become mishaped some how or is in too far anyone have a spec for alignment of this pulley these 10 rib belts are hard to find and exspensive so any advice before i try again is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

Tensioner is prolly bent or the last belt wasn't installed correctly.

make sure none of the pulleys or the brackets that hold them in place have come loose causing a missalignment. also check the pulleys while the motor is running and see if any wobble.

i had a similar issue back when i had a vortech sc, the belt would jump one rib forward under wot. in the end, it turned out to be the tensioner pulley wasnt parrallel with the rest of the pulleys it was angled just barely, couldnt even see it with the naked eye, had to use a straight edge to find the problem
