Hey guys, Im new here.. Im sure uve seen this question before, but


I want to buy a Mustang GT 2006-2008

I want to transform it into a Shelby GT 500
Can this be done and done well?

Also what parts would I need to do it?

Im sure its alot cheaper than buying a Shelby GT500 with the way the economy is these days LOL

I know I need the hood,Front and rear fascia and side skirts..
What would be the least expensive way to go

any help would be cool

if you made it look like a shelby cobra and still had a NA 4.6 3v under the hood carroll shelby will hunt you down himself.

i HATE clone cars. and it will by no means be cheaper to build an EXACT clone of anything unless you half a** it. if you don't have the money for the shelby, buy the GT and make it a sick looking GT. IF you feel the need to make a fake shelby...atleast do it from head to toe (everything from the interior to the motor and the body parts...and it aint gonna be cheap)

yea man. just supercharge your engine, make it fast.
with the money you are guna waste on buying body parts alone, you can make a beast gt

 

U could save even more money starting out with a 6'er.. Shelby out the body & stick on a fart cannon exhaust,, noone will know the difference

 

Except the guy next to you with the real GT-500...

To the OP do you mean you want it to "look" like a 500, or perform like a 500? Big diff....if you just want the looks well just buy the body parts looking on Ebay, craigslist, ect...if you want it to look and MOVE like a 500....just get a 500...
