Default will it work?

I have an 05 GT and I would like to retain more of a stock look under the hood so I don't want a CAI. However, I do want to increase overall performance by changing my air intake. A different TB is definitely in the future. My question is does anyone know if I took a Steeda High Flow Intake Elbow and attached it to my TB, would the inlet align enough with the factory air box to make the connection and not look dumb? Has anyone else out there has tried this.

Just replace your paper air filter with a K&N filter, that'll make a big difference. Also I am not sure of the '05s have an air silencer in the intake or not,, if there is one remove it
