Default changing interior

I was wondering how hard it would be to swap out the interior of a 1982 mustang notchback to a newer one, like say 1988-93. Would the new dash fit nicely and would the seats fit ? has anyone done this before ? i dont really like the '82 dash/gauges on the dashboard, i like how the 88-93 are set up tho, thats why im asking.

Everything will work even all the gauges with some fancy wiring. The dash and door panels and seats will all bolt right in.I have done it and everything was easy except for figuring out which wires to cut and splice to make the gas gauge work but I figured it out in the end.I'd tell you which ones it was but its been like ten years since I did it so its long gone from my mind[&:].But again it wasnt that hard

Does anybody know how much it would cost to completly change the color of my interior? I have a tan leather interior and I would like to make it darker like gray or black.

Well oviously it depends on how much you pay for the interiorIt would cost alot to have someone do it but to do it yourself I bet it could be done for under a grand with all the seats ,dash, carpet and door panels
