I have A 04 gt and recently i noticed the passenger door felt different when closing. Once I looked at it a little closer I noticed that the passenger window is going about 1/4-1/2" higher than before and it slightly hits the top of the window molding.

What could be causing the window to go higher??

 

There is a stopper piece in the door that stops the motor when it's gotten to the correct height, and apparently this piece likes to break. My 01 GT does the exact same thing on the driver's side. You can either roll your window all the way up and then blip it down just a bit (that's what I do) or you can take the panel off and try to re-attach the stopper to the window apparatus (but apparently this can be a royal pain).
