T-5 Fluid Quantity

Hello to all,
Dropping a new T-5 5 speed into my 68, can anyone tell me the correct amount of fluid to put in a T-5?
Also, I'm planning on using redline equivilent of Dexron. Any better ideas?

5.6 pts or 2.3 quarts.

how do you check how much is in it?

You take the plug out of the side of the tranny with a 3/8 ratchet and stick your pinky in it if you can touch fluid its full.Same place you fill it is the place you check it

NOTE: Theres two, dont use the bottom one to check it.
