Default Steeda Vs. Saleen advice

I am looking at the Steeda 2011 Sport Edition pumping out 450 hp, in comparison to the Saleen SMS 302 at 440 hp. Steeda slighlty alters the Ford 5.0 with the SCT Xcal3 handheld flash tuner as well as a new cold air intake, while the Saleen version goes with their 302CI 4-valve V8 engine. Does anyone know what the other fundamental differences are between these offferings (or even basic differences between Steeda and Saleen)? I understand that the Steeda comes in at around $40K while the Saleen is about $55K. Steeda appears then to have a slight advantage in hp at a cost of $15K less than Saleen. I am trying to understand the various factors which account for the cost difference.

(This is a re-post from the 5.0 forum, yet perhaps posted more appropriately here here in General Tech).
