rear end help 2003 gt
hi i have a 2003 gt 5 speed with 66k on it pretty much stock it has dual flowmasters and cold air intake. what i want to know is what rear end gearing do i get for my car this car is not my primary car but i would like to be able to drive several hundred miles once in awhile once a year. how hard is it to take the rear end out and re install for the 03gt 5 speed tranny? lets say from a 1 to a 10 scale. thanks guys

If you plan on doing a bit of highway driving stick with 3.73 gears. 4.10s are nice but whine in high gears which gets annoying. I recommend you replace your bearings when you do this since you are over 60k in miles.
As far as difficulty, if you are mechanically inclined you can do it. I had help with a buddy who has a shop for it was easier to do on a lift. Here is an install guide to give you an idea of what's involved:

Good luck!!
