And don't try the lame trick of trying to put higher wattage bulbs in your existing fogs. That will just cause an unnecessary build-up of heat and probably either distort your lenses or melt them altogether. I don't believe most OEM Ford fog lenses are glass, just plastic or some sort of composite. Still, higher wattage bulbs than specified by Ford will ultimately end in your fogs being ruined, and/or part of your plastic bumper cover becoming distorted.

 

Not to mention the long-term ill effects on your wiring harnesses
