Default just wondering

I'm a 17 year old, and a mustang enthusiast. While my friends want to get lambos, Ferarris, or a Bugatti I want a Mustang. What would the cost of a 2011 glass roof mustang with a V8 and twin turbo cost? And would it be better to have a Twin turbo, a supercharger, or both? Just to clarify there is no way in hell that I could afford this unless I sold my soul. Thanks for anything.

Glad to hear you like the stangs over all the high end cars. 2011 GT about 32 thousand. Not sure about the class roof though. Kenne Bell supercharger depending what u want around 5 grand give or take for other companies, and twin turbos a few grand also. I don't believe it is possibly to do both. It is either one or the other. And its all on preference on what you want. The Shelby GT500 already is supercharged and 550hp I believe. And the cars are new yet so, if you want to do engine work I don't believe there are many performance things to buy. I just heard the other day the first LT header and full exhaust set up just came out for them. Hope this was somewhat helpful

umm yes you can do turbos and a pos displacement blower, its called compound boost. people do it with the gt500's and the 03/04 cobras i won't say all the time but its not some mythical thing that no one's seen before. its extremely inefficient since it heats the air so much and you will get better results with either a blower or turbos as your only boost.

OP, your question is extremely vague. with a blower of some sort, theres no guarantee what hp your running. with only a small amount of boost your talking about only say, 100hp added, but you can raise the boost and have 300 added. i don't even know what the '11 GT lower is rated for but you can easily max it out with a blower.

as for the "which one is better"....thats really just preference. personally, if i had an endless budget it would be the turbo route

Only issue with a 2011 GT and boost is you have to mind the compression and strength of internals. Its already pretty darn fast IMO. Amazing car. I now have much more faith in our youth now hearing that good ole American made cars can beat Ferrari's and those classless Lambos.
