I personally wouldn't bother. You said you're on a budget and buying/repairing a totaled car can get pricey and you can run into unexpected problems. All that stuff will start to add up quickly. Do you know how to repair/do body work or would you take it to a shop?

What are you looking to spend? And what do you want the car for? DD? To build it up? If I had that that kind of money laying around and wanted a Mustang, I'd look for a Foxbody and put some work into it but it all depends on what you want.

i would be really careful on that mustang. Those repairs are most of the time more expenxive than they look, plus since it is salvaged, youll prolly have to go threw all kinds of inspections to get it registered...

i agree and would look for a nice little fox

i want the car for mostly for looks like my Charger i love having everyone look at your ride when you pass.
My budget is about $10000 i have a cousin that does bodywork he will do for cheap im sure and also my dad is a mechanic for the motor work but if its going to cost to much i might save a bit more up and buy just a used 2006-07 mustang.

I was just thinking because i know already i want to change the whole car kinda like body kit, hood, rims new fenders i just thought it might of been cheaper this way

I'd definitely have someone look it over to make sure there isn't any major problems with the body/frame/engine etc. For 10k you could find a pretty nice '05-09 V6, and always slowly mod it. That's what I've done with mine.
