HI, I HAVE 99' V6 MUSTANG THAT I GOT FOR $300 DOLLARS. I'M ONLY 16 AND I DONT HAVE MUCH MONEY. I WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS. I NEED ANOTHER FUEL PUMP AND I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WAS ANOTHER THAT I CAN GET OFF A FORD CONTOUR FROM A JUNK YARD OR A FOCUS BECAUSE EVERY MUSTANG THAT I SEE IN THERE HAS NO FUEL PUMP. I'M TRYING TO DO THIS BY MYSELF WITH LITTLE OR NO FUNDS. ANY ANSWER WOULD HELP THANKS.

Why do you think you need a new fuel pump? A lot of fuel problems aren't the fuel pump, but often times people jump to conclusions and assume the problem is the pump.

As for finding out what pump will fit your ride I would contact your local dealer's parts department and ask them for the part numbers for the fuel pump on the year/make/model junk car's fuel pump. Then ask what the part number is for your ride. If the part numbers are different then it won't work.
