Default My 2003 Mustang

I am not very knowledgeable with vehicles but was told by a co-worker that I should look into getting a lockrite system installed to help with winter driving. I live in North Western Pennsylvania and I realize this car was not made for snow travel but it's what I have to deal with. I have about 200 lbs in the trunk but still have trouble driving. My tires are not brand new but I had my inspection done and was told they should still be okay for this winter.

I would basically like to know whether or not a Powertrax lockrite system would actually help me when I have to drive through snow to get to work or if there is anything that might work better. If this is potentially a good idea I have a good mechanic i go to and can ask him for help with the specifics. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for your response. I'll post a summary and possibly pictures if I end up doing it.
