I have a similar question.

What's the widest 17 inch rim that will fit my 01 GT Coupe in the rear and in the front? What's the widest 18 inch rim that will fit? What size tires do I get for those?

the best advice for both of you guys would be to call "the tire rack" they have the best prices on rim and tire packages

17x9's in the front and 17x10.5's in the rear.. you can fit 275's in the front if your not going to lower the car but i would recommend either stay with stock tires in the front or go up to a 265 at most. in the rear you can fit a 315 tire with no problems. this is for 4600cc..

Hell I like the sound of that. [8D]

But, I gonna lower the vehicle by a bit, say 2 inches. What size tire should I get in this case?

In response to the front wheels, I wouldn't go any bigger than a 17x8 wheel. In the back I would go with a 18x10. You should put 245,45 on the front and 315,18 on the rear.

mines lowered 2.5 inches and i have 245's in the front and 275's in the rear and it looks great... rims wise you can fit 17x9's all the way around but not sure about the 17x10.5 on the rear with it lowered 2 inches..
