fuel pump driver module
my car shut off while driving the other day. it just cranks now no start. I read somehwere to check the drive module pins to see the volts, and if its over 10.5 volts thats bad. my volts were 12.60. what do i do next, is this whats causing my car not to run?

Don't know what your talking about (drive module pins)… However, this is how I would track this down.
1) Check all the fuses for continuity with a multi-meter or a fuse tester. A visual check is only a basic test, the fuse can took good and still be bad. Most fuse packs at auto parts stores come with a fuse tester.
2) Check the battery. Most auto parts stores will test a battery for free, call ahead first. Make sure they do a load test, which simulated the load on the battery while starting up.
3) Check the battery connections for corrosion and if they are connected securely. If its corroded, clean it with some baking soda, water and a wire brush. If the corrosion is down into the connectors wiring, replace the wire.
4) Put the key in the ignition and switch to the ON position, but don't start the car. Listen for a hissing sound which indicates that the fuel pump is priming.
5) Get an ignition tester from a local auto parts store and see if your getting spark at all the spark plugs.
If all that checks out, post back and we'll go from there…
When you try to start, what happens? Does it turn over? If it turns over, is it turning over slowly?

Did you press the schrader valve while the key is in the ON position? When you put the key in the ON position, do you hear the fuel pump kick in? Did you check the fuses?
It's somewhat of a longshot, but check the inertia switch in the trunk. Should be a little hole you can fit your finger through on the driver's side near the taillight, push down on the button. If it clicks when you push it, your problem might be fixed.
Question: Does the "theft" light on the instrument panel flash rapidly while you're cranking the engine? If so, may be a PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) issue. Use the search button here to learn more about PATS if you need to, I don't know enough about it to give you any helpful info on that one.
