99-04 V6 to V8 rear axle...
Hi Guys,
could not find after search here the answer to my dilemma.
I have a 2000 Mustang GT 4.6. The right rear axle shaft is bent after an accident of the former owner. It did not break anything and the car is still drivable (sort of), the upper arm is ripped out. I can not find a reasonable 8.8 rear end - plenty out there for the v6...
Now my question is, it possible to swap my my 8.8 internals into a v6 housing?
Thanks!

The v6 is a 7.5 center section so your gears and and t-lok from the 8.8 wont fit. I believe the axle shafts are the same from the 7.5 to 8.8 though.
The fox rear ends are to short to fit under the new edge mustangs properly.
