Default Tire numbers

Could someone explain what the numbers on your tires mean. Im pretty sure the last number is the rim it will fit on and someone told me the first number is the thinkness of the tire, but what does the second number mean. Thanks to anyone who helps my dumbass

275 ( first number is the size of the tire is the overall width of the tire in millimeters
the middle number lets say 75 is the aspect ratio between thetire height and width of the tire example this tire is 75% of the tire width


and the last number is your size of the hole for the rim

275/75/15
