Post Help with my '99 Ranger

Hey guys. I know its not a Mustang but it is a general question. I noticed a crack on the EGR tube. The EGR tube runs from the bottom of the EGR Valve to the exhaust manifold. It has two smaller tubes running off of it and at the base of one of those smaller tubes the weld is cracked.

I have heard they are expensive and was wondering if I I could just use some JB Weld on the crack to seal it up or if that is going to cause any problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Alright well I tried it anyways and could only let it sit for about 12-16 hours so i'm sure it wasn't set all the way but no it didn't work. Maybe JB Weld isn't rated for a temp such as exhaust. I don't know.

I bought some exhaust putty at Farm and Fleet that's suppose to be rated at 2000 degrees so I will try that this weekend.

Thanks
