If you buy a 1 year old car from a dealer and the car has 30K on the clock, but has never had a dealer stamp to say its been serviced by a main dealer, would the manufacturers warranty be all but worthless as when you try and go claim, the dealer will turn round and say 'you have no stamps in your service book'?

This is actually related to a Hyundai i am looking to buy for the wife.
