Default 94 mustang gt issues help

I bought a 94 mustang gt that I need help with. The car runs rough and has a power loss. It acts like it is miss firing and smokes black when u crack the throttle. It has bbk headers and not sure on exhaust. Did a test and came up with these codes 136 ho2s sensor fault always lean. 172 ho2s sensor fault/lean. There is no o2 sensors in the headers. The person B 4 me put metal plugs in them. I found one o2 plug harness on the passenger side but not one on left. Is there one or two o2 sensors on the car. I need help to get this going.

first step is to fix the codes. put the 02 sensor back in the exhaust and start from there. get a service manual. good luck.

there arent supposed to be any O2 sensors in the headers. There should be an O2 sensor in each side of the h-pipe, just before the first set of cats. if you dont have these O2 sensors in, the car is going to run super rough and try and compensate for the Air/Fuel Mixture that it is receiving (which is wrong because of no sensor).

Default 94 mustang gt help

I looked the only two areas for the o2 sensors r in the exhaust pipes right under where the headers and exhaust hooks up. There is a plug there where the o would hook up. There is no plug for the left side. looked every where.
