Default LOWERING SPRINGS??

hi again, i have anoher question...i was wondering about the difference in lowering springs? is there a big difference in maxspeed springs and eibach springs...i know the eibach cost more but are they worth it...also if i am considering lowering my 2000 gt...is the ride going to suck with the springs only?? should i get the struts and shocks also?? thanx

I think it will be cheaper than eibach or maxspeed.

how much you want to drop? 1.5"? get ford C springs; 2" or more, get eibach sportlines. C springs cost 130 shipped form mustang tuning. eibach pro kit drops just a tad more but costs much more, eibach sportlines drop it a lot but c/c plates and shocks and struts will be needed if you want a good alignment and a normal ride quality

im wanting to lower 2". i just dont want a crappy ride...had that once and hated it....i was just wondering if i bought a set of cheaper springs if the ride will be any worse or the springs any worse??

They make pretty good springs, if you consider that a spring is a spring. Some come red, some come yellow, others are black. But they all are made of the same crap, only the specs are different. You give those guys the specs you want and tell them how much you want it up in the air or how much you want it lowered, and they deliver the goods. As far as ride quality, that depends on the type of specs you give them. Try get the specs of a quality aftermarket spring you want. I'd even ask them for the specs, I bet they know.
