Default vacuum hoses it is

ok ive come to the conclusion that vacuum hoses is the cause of my idleing problem. now i can c many others r having this problem as well.. now i wanna go about fixing this problem, i just need advice, i no where some of the vacuum hoses r, i jsut dont no where they all r, i mean how do i go about checking them and replacing em if i have too, i mean do i even gotta replace em, or just cover up the leaks or w/e.. sum1 who nos what to do please help me

You will have vacuum going to your brake booster, egr valve, fuel pressure regulator, PCV valve, and a few others. They aren't hard to locate, they all come to upper intake, so trace them back. Replacing is easy. Drive up to autozone, tear off the hose you want to replace, go in and buy a replacement hose for couple of cents per foot. It's all that easy.

so approx. how many hoses do u think i will need to replace, b/c im goin the whole way, im replacing em ALL by myself.. basically for an 87 5.0, how many hoses r there approx?? at least an estimate

i see all the vacuum hoses near the air intake, i counted like maybe 5-6 of em... is that all of em? or r there still others around??

Are you kidding?????10 bucks?????There are a bunch of T-fittings and other stuuf that are in the lines also there is no way you could replace every line for 10 bucks
