Weird grind after starting up
bleh i thought brushes were the small leads that power the magnet in an electric motor....like in small electric motors such as drills and r/c cars..dunno if were talkingthe same thing. elaborate plz! or even if anyone knows how much this would cost to get done would be good too, was thinking of just getting it done in the week.
my 86 stang whistles like crazy but the power steering fluid is good and full ... im thinking i just need a new pump and maybe some injecters cause my car acts as if its starving for fuel and kinda wants to cut out but when i hit the gas nice and hard it runs as smooth as a baby bottom
Maybe its getting too much fuel. Either way, add some fuel injector cleaner, and check your TPS/O2 sensors. My power steering fluid is full too, and when I took the belt of to turn the accessories, the power steering pump felt a little worn, I'm having my buddy help me figure it out this weekend, so we'll see.

But a new starter is in order, anyone know how hard/easy it is to put in, what needs to come off, I havn't had a chance to look.
