Default Waxing new car with stripe?

Hi - I just got my new 2012 mustang a week ago. It's kona blue with a white over the top stripe.

I was wondering when it would be safe to wax the car, and if the stripe changes that at all? (ie: do I have to wait longer because of the stripe?)

Thanks!

my experience would be to avoid the stripe with the wax and use the detailer spray on it to keep it nice.
its white so it wont show like black but wax can also build up and show.
there are some exceptions like the zaino system where they say you can use their polish right on top of vinyl stripes.
