2011 GT rpm's hanging at around 1000 for a couple seconds when shifting to nuetral
I had posted earlier this month about a problem I had with the rpms dropping below the normal idling amount when shifting into neutral and then within 3 or 4 seconds rising back up to the normal idle rpms. Ive been noticing this only occurs when my air conditioning is on which is similar to the other threads I had read.
I am now noticing something in addition to this. If I am driving and shift into neutral regardless of which gear I am in or how fast I am going, the rpms begin to fall but at around 1000-1200 or so rpms, it hangs for about 2 seconds and will sometimes even hop up about 100 rpms and then immediately begin falling down to the normal idling. I am pretty sure that this should not be happening but I am also not extremely knowledgeable so I am not sure. Does anyone know if there is something wrong and what it could be?

In all my years of dealing with Mass Air cars, that problem is usually caused by the Mass Air Sensor.
Last problem I had was the car dropping RPM's going to neutral and sometimes stalling. The problem was too much dirty air rusing through the air filter into the mass air. I put in a plate too block too much direct air from the grill and it worked.
This isnt your problem on your car obviously.
Mass air units generally do not throw a code, but they are often the problem with what you are explaining...
Ask them to scan the voltage reading on the mass air while you are slowing down into neutral.
