Positive battery terminal/cable woes... Question

in my car there is a 8 awg power wire that goes directly from the battery to the fuse box. if yours is like mine put a ring terminal on the end of the factory wires and put it there. Now just get another short piece of 8 awg and run from the batt directly to the same point and yer done.
