Default 01 GT loss of power then hard jerk while driving

Well guys i have an 01 Ford mustang GT 5-speed. I was driving around town last night and i had the bright idea to pop the clutch in reverse and it kinda wheel hopped a bit so i stopped. Then after i did tht i was driving down the road an the car lost all power all of the sudden then it jerked real bad almost like it jumped outa gear and then slammed back into gear. It did it all the way home jus at random times and its getting worst. I checked the rear end and tht looks fine and the driveshaft looks fine so idk. Wht do yall think could be the problem?

You ruined your tranny internal gearing. Did you know that popping the clutch in reverse is a tranny killer?
