Default Cruise Control Switch/Horn Issue

I just obtained a 2004 Mustang GT, five speed and discovered that when I press the "on" switch for the cruise control the horn blows. Needless to say, the cruise control does not work. The regular horn switch (via the airbag) works fine. None of the other CC function buttons does this.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what causes this and how to possibly fix it? Thanks!

baha, sounds like someone got bored and messed with some wires.
"hehe wait till the buyer tries to cruise!"
hope you get a fix for it

Sounds like a short somewhere in the steering column. Good luck...
