Default Rattle on cold days

I hope this isnt what I think it is (lifters) but I bought a 2005 mustang a month and a half ago. Now that it has finally gotten cold in the south I have noticed a rattle in my engine. It sounds almost like a diesel motor. If I let it warm up it goes away.

Specs: 2005 Mustang GT 47K miles

The quick questions: What is it? How long do I have, maybe? How much is it gonna cost approximately?

It'll be almost impossible to diagnose your problem without vids. I would suggest taking it to a reputable mechanic and have them check it out. When dealing with engine noise I would get it looked at ASAP! GL!!
