Program a spare key for a 2007 Ford Fusion
As we known, an unprogrammed key will not start the car even if it has the correct cut to operate the locks. If you need a spare key for your 2007 Ford Fusion, you can program an extra key yourself with the key programmer T300, it has the function of immobiliser program, add key, match key, delete key, match ecu etc.

...Or for $370something less you could simply follow the directions of the bloody user manual to program extra ones with a transponder (using same encryption bit scheme)...

Cost me a whopping $48 and 10 minutes of time for my car, they're sold for even less with a blank transponder if you look...

I believe it's the same for any of the newer FORDs:
PATS programming:
1. two previously programmed keys required.
2. put in first key, switch to IGN position, give 4 count..
3. remove first key, put in second, switch to IGN position again, give 4 count..
4. remove second key, put in unprogrammed key, switch to IGN position, wait for PATS light to go out (usually under 4 seconds again). Done.
5. Repeat above for each new key.

Remote programming:
1. Use cut key to switch rapidly from off to ignition 8 times in under 10 seconds.
2. finally landing on IGN/on position, door locks should go up then back down again on their own.
3. Press any button on the new remote. Done.
