Launching Right

RE: Launching Right
Assuming you drive a 5 speed...
The best way to figure out how to properly launch your car, rev to about 1,000 RPMS while stopped and ease out the clutch and run through first and 2nd, turn around and go back and do it all over again, each time slightly increasing the RPM's before you ease out of the clutch and apply more gas. You will find the sweet spot where you get minimal amount of wheel spin and what seems to be the most traction without spinning hard or wheel hopping.
I did this in my 02 GT with 4.10's and managed to get down to 2.10/2.0 60's at the track on street tires without dropping pressures, it takes a lot of practice.
Right now I'm learning all over again with my Cobra...
