Default 6 to 8 swap

my 95 v6 has blown head gaskets. i want to eventually do an engine swap anyway, so i dont want to stick $1500 into this engine. is there anyway i can put a remanufactured 5.0 from that year into the car with the existing transmission? i'm assuming ill need a shorter driveshaft. are the engine mounts the same? any input would be greatly appreciated

pretty much its just alot easier to just sell your car and get an 8. but if you willing to do the swap it is possible.

i cant remember if the k-memebers are the same in a v6 and a v8 car.

If you have some mechanical ability you can fix those head gaskets in 3-4 hours. It will only cost you about $200-$250 then. Then you can sell the car and just put a down payment on an 8 cyl mustang or buy a 8 cyl that needs some TLC.
