Default Scrap Parts

I already posted this... long story short, my car was the victim of a hit-and-run in a parking lot. My question is, would hanging onto the hood and anything else salvageable, that might otherwise be thrown out, be worth keeping? If I were to sell the hood as-is on Ebay without a reserve, do you think anyone would be interested? I just figured it has minor damage, and insurance is paying for a brand new hood so what the hell.

The damage is the 3-4 inch dent on the front of the hood. Other then that, it is brand new... the bumper cover could also be fixed with little effort.

You can't see the damage? Wanna borrow my glasses? LOL But, yes it will probably sell on e-bay. Just don't expect very much.

It's an 06 so they're aluminum... which runs for just under 700 brand new.. I'm not expecting much for it.. would be complacent with 50, or so... it'd just go towards the premium for the new parts anyway. Was j/w if I would be wasting my time putting a dinged hood up there.

Since you are getting a new hood anyways, you aren't going to put another ugly stocker on there are you. Get something to stand apart from the crowd.

I would keep it. Some body will want it.....or YOU will down the road.

On a side note, i didn't know the new cars had metal hoods again?
