Wrong. You don't have to run synthetic oil after using it. You CAN MIX synthetic and conventional. But it is not usually recommended because of the life span of synthetic oil compared to conventional.

ok silver than what is syth. blend?*L*
great oils
redline 5-6 bucks
amsoil 4-5 bucks
mobil14-5 bucks
r purple 6-bucks
the first 3 have been out over 25 years...
you can change back to reg. oil when ever you like.
the benigit of syth. is it flow better in cold weather and at start up when 60-70% wears accurs. using 20-50 in 2001 or newer cars will hurt milaege with the closer tol. on the engines ford is doing..

with oil changes @ 5k it will not cost anymore than normal oil and changing syth. oil @ 3k is your making oil companies money(that's who came up with 3k changes)your doing your engine a favor by just switching to syth.

ches.. in the vendor area can give you a good price on amsoil oil and thier filters are one of the best as this is what I use..don't use those sorry *** fram filters<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>vfast</editID><editDate>37974.5752777778</editDate></edited>

If your motor has alot of milage. I would perfer regular motor. Syth. finds leaks in old gaskests. But if you got lower milage i would go with Mobil 1. Wal-Mart sells it the cheapest.
