Default Haunted 2005 V6

Okay, please be patient with me...
All issues below are intermittent and all either work or don't work at the same time....

Automatic trans will not come out of part.
Brake lights don't work.
Radio doesn't work.
Windows don't work.
Power door locks don't work.
Nothing on the key-less entry fob will work, (trunk, locks...)

And a part of the puzzle that has me thinking maybe, just maybe the ignition switch. Sometimes when you turn off the ignition and remove the key the radio stays powered up and the dash lights remain on but the radio doesn't play (assuming amps aren't getting power).

If anyone has a clue I would be ever so grateful for any direction I can get...
Thanks in advance....

Bill

Does everything that takes power from the battery not work?

No, the motor will start every time regardless of the condition or status of the other issues. I too was hoping it was the battery and just for good measure I connected my fully charged jump box and the issues did not change. Now when I say this is intermittent I mean that you can get in and it happens then a minute later its fine, then the next minute its a mess again...

Any possibility that there has been water leaking in on the passenger side around the electronics in the kick panel?

Nothing inside the kick panel wet or looks like it's been wet, but this is Florida and it does rain A LOT here and with temps near 100* stuff dries quick too... If water had gotten inside what are you suspecting?

I would go with water leaks, the early S197's were know for it. Get out the hose and soak that bitch for awhile just let water run all over it. All those issue minus the transmission sound like the water leak issues. The transmission just sounds like it needs some love.

Update:

Pulled the larger connector off of the SJB (fuse box in kick panel passenger side) and found a couple of the pins were showing signs of having been wet. Now with this information can I assume that the SJB which is also a computer is toast?

I am somewhat concerned as to why all of the issues are intermittent and when there is no problem everything is just fine. Usually when something electronic if fried its fried, no going back and no worky.... This is driving me nuts.... Thanks everyone for your input... I've tried calling the dealer to talk with a tech, yeah right, like they are going to let you do that...ha...
