Default grind noise when turning 2000 stang

Leaving work today I heard a weird when turning... Binding/grind noise in one spot while turning. Lifted the front end to take a look and the noise goes away... So it only does when on the ground and its hard to tell what it might be. Mostly does it when turning left. Any ideas or things I could check

When you lifted the front end to test it, did you lift it from the frame or the lower control arms? I would do it from the lower control arms (both of them) so that the suspension is still at normal ride height. The grinding could be the wheels, rotor, caliper and/or something rubbing against something else as the wheel spins.

I’d jack up the front via both lower control arms, put them on jack stands, start the car and turn the wheel to see if it reproduces. If it doesn’t, then try again with a friend spinning the front wheel.

Good luck...
