I was wondering if there is any way to get a 3650 trans to fit with a 1999 v6 engine.I know i can just get another v6 transmission but im going to do the 5.0 swap middle of next year. I dont want to waste my money on a stock trans for my car when im just going to have to change it in like 6-9 months. when i can get a 3650 and use it with the coyote engine.

 

Odds are you'll be far better off just finding the V6 trans and swapping it out, You can also use a V8 T5 if it's easier to find but it will have different ratios in it.

Where's the Coyote coming from? Used? If so it'll likely come from a car with a good trans in it already so just snag that too.
