Default Turbo Auto?

Ok, currently in the middle of my project car. I have a 99GT with a fully forged 5.4 dohc going in the car. It's going to be a single turbo car. My question is, what is the downside of making it an auto turbo? What is going to happen when it shifts at full boost; more dangerous at all?

shouldn't matter. plenty of cars are auto turbos. just make sure that you have a tranny that can handle all that horsepower.

btw- 5.4 turbo in the mustang= awesome.

find a tranny that will hold the hp.
the only down side to a auto with hight hp is you never miss a shift.
